Blue Ridge Seed Mix provides for a tightly knit, dark green quality turf. This mix is adaptable to many soil types and ideal for new lawns or for overseeding into existing fescue or bluegrass turf.
Environment: Sun or medium shade
Seeding Rate: 5 to 7 lbs./1000 for new turf and 2 to 3 lbs./1000 in existing turf
Our Select Shade Mix is an elite mixture of fine fescue seed (85%) with 10% kentucky bluegrass, and 5% perennial ryegrass.
As its name implies, Select Shade Mix is designed to perform well in shaded areas. Fine fescues are well known for their survival under extreme growing conditions. They are cool season, fine bladed, and low growing grasses that have low fertility and maintenance requirements compared to other cool season grasses.
Creeping Red Fescue (approx. 35% of the mix) is a high quality turf with excellent soil stabilization qualities due to rhizomatous growth and adaptability to varying soil types and pH ranges. Chewings Fescue (approx. 30% of the mix) is known for fine leaf texture, shade and drought tolerance. It is an aggressive bunch-type fine fescue. Hard Fescue (approx. 20% of the mix) is dense, dwarf, and compact. It thrives with little fertility and easily tolerates shade and drought.

Contractors is a mix of Tall Fescue and Annual Ryegrass. It is an economical way to get quick grass cover in a multitude of situations. Contractors Mix does well in full sun to partial shade.
The Annual Ryegrass is quick to germinate and stabilize the soil until the Fescue can fill in. We use Turf Type Tall Fescue in our mix for a deep/dark green color. Use this mix to patch areas of bare ground, fill in thin areas, or start a new lawn.

Tourstar Perennial Ryegrass Blend is a mixture of 3 varieties of perennial ryegrass chosen from top rated grasses in national trials. We use varieties that are fine-leafed, disease resistant, endophyte enhanced, and heat resistant.
Tourstar Perennial Ryegrass is a great choice for home lawns, athletic fields, golf course fairways and tees, and commercial properties. It will germinate and cover quickly!

Our Park Sun and Shade Mix is an elite mixture of kentucky bluegrass, creeping red fescue, and chewings fescue.
Park Sun and Shade Mix is very fine bladed and blueish green in color. This mix will demand greater inputs of fertilizer and water than tall fescue mixtures but you won’t be disappointed with the results.
